Slow down?
Hey y'all.
Everything is going well for the most part, I think that I have some sickness coming my way though. It is probably from not getting as much sleep as I should be. The last few nights I have been up later and getting up early. Averaging about 5 hours these last few nights and 6 hours being normal. It is kind of rough on the body after a while I guess. At least my body doesn't like it that much. I think I might need to slow down a little? nahh....
The fall play is coming up this weekend, I'm fairly excited about that. I'll be sure to put up some pictures or something to show how that went. It is really going to be nice because I will get some extra hours working. I could use the hours for sure.
I'll be heading home for thanks giving this semester. It will be nice to head home and get some rest for a little while before finishing out the semester. Hopefully I will have somewhere to sleep this time though. Last time I slept on the couch upstairs - not good for getting restful sleep. I might head out to a friends house and to a relatives place, that might be a better option.
Any one know of any work to be done over thanks giving? I am looking to make some gas money to help me get back to school afterward

Fall?
I didn't make my payment for school today, but that is okay. The payment that was due this month will rollover into next months payment and I should be alright. It was really good times on God's part that this month is a three pay-check month, because this is when I needed the most I think. The third check that I will get this month will finish this month's payment and start on the next one - then I will get two more checks in November that will take care of the rest of the payment. This puts me at zero for the start of next semester, which is awesome! I have never been so happy to have no money.
On a different note: it snowed yesterday, but now the snow is gone. We have a winter storm warning for this weekend, but it is going to be in the 60's starting next week? Interesting. It happens every year and everyone still thinks it is strange. I enjoyed the glimpse of winter that we had yesterday, but I won't mind a few more days of fall.

The last week
In the last seven days I have been to the hospital 6 times - visiting someone or dropping someone off of course. I got very tired from the process. I doubled my times to the hospital as a result of this week. I had only got I believe five times before this week and now I'm up to eleven.
I'm not very impressed with the hospital my friend was at though. Even after they let her out they still had no idea what was wrong with her. She would black/pass out, low blood pressure, was seeing things and couldn't remember other things. She is all kinds of messed up. No idea what is wrong, but they did let her out. She still has all the problems, and will most likely continue to have them.
Once she was out of the hospital she had another attack. Saw things and the whole lot. We tracked down what we thought it was - optical migraine. We figured out at least what she might have in about 15 minutes what took the doctors all week to not figure out. I am still not very impressed. I still have respect for them and the profession that they practice, but I think that they could have done better. That isn't even the whole story, they was other problems - I don't want to cause to much trouble though.
on top of all this, I ended up hurting my shoulder, making ordinary task rather painful. I might have to get an X-ray just to be safe. I don't want it to heal wrong or anything. But it does mean another trip to the hospital. Joy.
My foot is healing rather nicely. I don't have any problems with that. I believe I posted some pictures below of what it looks like as of this week.
Now, on to what I have been learning from this whole mess of events. I think that if I had to choose one thing that I have been learning through this it would to trust God with control of things. Simple, yes, but very practical for this week. I wanted so badly to be there or to help in some way - but I couldn't. I could only stand back watch and pray. And pray. I had to trust God with control of the circumstances, there wasn't much else that I could do. I think that, but I realize that praying was and is the best things that I can do. My human self can do nothing in light of what an awesome God can do. What better thing is there than prayer?
It has been a long week, time for some sleep.

Exciting much?
Sometimes I think it would be okay to have a less exciting life, but than I would miss out on all the excitement. At least, that is what I hear.
The last few days have been exciting to say the least. A friend of mine got kind of sick with bronchitis starting last weekend, and it progressively went down hill. By Wednesday she was having difficulty breathing, and on Thursday I believe was the first day she went into the ER. At this point she was just coughing a lot. That was about until Saturday, she wasn't coughing anymore, but she was having a really hard time breathing (personally I think that is a bigger problem). She ended up blacking out two times I know for sure, and came close a few more times. They kept her on oxygen most of the time when she was at the ER.
She is better now, they gave her some more medication and some other instructions. Should be fine I would think. That was the last few days concerning that.
I have been reading a lot about risk lately. About taking good risk and doing the right thing even if it might not end well. With good timing on God's part, I have the chance to do that.
I decided that I would be giving back to God, even if I can't afford it. Even if it means not being able to stay at school. Doing the right thing for God and living for God is more important and valuable than my education and my life at school. It holds more weight in my life than other things. With that said, I want to trust Him and follow His guidance. Right now, that means giving back to Him.
Here is the situation though, without some very crazy stuff happening I wouldn't have been able to pay for the first three (as I have wrote about). The deal with this one is that I have enough, if I don't give anything back. It is up there with the most illogical thing I have ever done. I have enough if I am selfish and think that I can do it on my own. I'm not going to though. I have seen God do too many crazy things to think that He can't do something crazy here too. And even if he doesn't, I will trust and follow him. If I have to leave school that will be something I can live with. It will be difficult and not very enjoyable, but I will be okay with it.
I have to end this now, if I make it much longer no one will read it. Later
