Pictures of me
This was taken the same day that my parents and I went for a ride, but I just remembered that I had it on my phone. Now I will share my discovery with you.
Right now i'm at camp. Just hanging out with Tim,working, reading books and riding bikes. It is the good life I would say. I officially started the 60-60 experiment today. Every 60 minutes connect with God for 60 days. The idea comes from the book Soul Revolution. My watch beeps and it is a reminder to stay connected to God throughout the day. The goal is to be with God and connected with Him all day, the watch is only the reminder to do so. I'm excited to see what God will teach me through this and what a difference I will experience because of it.
That is all for now. Typing all this on my phone is hard work.

Facilitators Training
What a long weekend. It's not even over yet. Man.
I just got back from Facilitators Training a few hours ago. It is where I learn to be a good camp counselor and facilitate good activities. Not Games, activities. Along with other behavioral theories and concepts that a camp counselor should be mindful of. I really enjoyed what I learned, but it was really long. Lots of sitting, much like a class room setting. Seeing as I just finished with school it was not what I wanted to go through at the time. Even through that though I did enjoy it. I hope that I will be a good counselor.
The camp that we had training had a rock wall. On this rock wall was four different faces to climb. One of those faces has never been climbed - they called it the climb of humility. It is apparently a humbling experience. I wanted to climb it. Badly. There wasn't time though nor did I bring my climbing shoes.
At this particular camp that we were having training, some sand dunes where close by. Because of the close proximity of the dunes there was a lot of sweet trucks/jeeps/buggies driving by. With some of the vehicles driving by, I would hear the tires rumble before I would hear the engine. It was great.

three 5lb jars
Just to prove my point, here is three 5lb jars of peanut butter. 15lbs of golden brown delight! Even though i haven't had any in a while i still think that it is delicious.
zip-line
I went down a zip-line this morning for the first time. It was a lot of fun, not scary at all. The scariest part was stopping I think.
on a different note, I'm home now. I left campus at about 11:45am and got back to my house by 11:15 that night. I went to bed around midnight and woke up at 6am. After unpacking the car this morning my Dad drove me to camp to work this morning. I have been in a car for way to long over the last two days. I would also like some sleep.
I had my first home cooked meal this morning in the last 4 months - it was delicious. My Dad makes awesome eggs, that is all I have to say about that.
It is weird being back home again after 6 months of not. It is still my home, but it doesn't really feel like it at times. It would help if I had a bed to sleep in and a room for my stuff. Some of those minor things that most people have as requirements for "home." What is home though? Is home just where a person lives? Is home where you "feel" at home? does it depend on people and the relationship that exist? What is home? That is what I have been thinking about lately.
I just got back last night and I'm already having to think about packing for next semester. I work up until the last weekend of the summer. This results in me having to have everything ready for school by the time that I start work next week.
I'm typing on a different computer than I normally do. This keyboard is weird, and that is all I have to say on the subject
For someone that is obsessed with peanut butter, I haven't had it in over a week. I got sick off of it last weekend and now I haven't touched it since. I think I will have some soon just to get me back into the grove of things though. My life just doesn't seem right if I don't have at least a little every day. Now going a whole week, I almost don't feel like my self.
Later, dudes.
